heavy and light armor
Sentinel insignia gave me an idea; a warrior requires higher strength to carry or wear the heavier armor. Why not have light and heavy armors? The current armors in the game we'll assume are normal armors. Light armor would have an inherent and permanent speed buff but make you more prone to criticals and give you a lower armor level than the normal type. Heavier armor would reduce the criticals enemies can make on you, but have a permanent inherent speed debuff and a higher armor level than the regular armor type of its kind. The speed buffs are cumulative, to a limit. If light armor had say, a 10% speed boost, then if the fastest a character can go is 33%, the new high would be 43%. A character with heavy armor with a speed debuff of 10% cannot go faster than a character with normal armor going the fastest speed.

No.
The beauty of the current armor system is it's simplicity (All armor is the same before Insignias/Runes). Adding this, particularly for Warriors only, would add needless complication, and complaining about what's "Balanced"

Are you talking about just warriors?
How do you make a "light armor" version of this?

Light Armour Scar? That's easy, get rid of the underwear.
/notsigned, it's far too complicated for the current system and casters will wear light armour, and it's likely to just confuse people.

There are already heavy and light armors:
- Heavy: 80 armor
- Medium: 70 armor
- Light: 60 armor.
That's how it works here.

No,I read something similar. Armor would be wearable for everyone but having movement restrictions for some.
I'll try to find it.

The current armor system is fine, no need to change it. Inherit speed (de)buffs would be quite a bad addition to GW too.
